Q. What is your staff's experience, and their ratio to the children?

A. Kids Club provides an 8:1 staff ratio. All staff are First Aid and CPR certified. Our organization has been around since 1991 and most of our staff have a history with the program. Over 80% of them are former campers, counselors in training, or have siblings in the program. Staffing backgrounds include teaching, degreed child development, and recreational experience. All staff are college level or higher, and hold degrees in fields relevant to our camp programs.


Q. Does Kids Club offer financial aid or scholarships?

A. Kids Club is a leader in affordable programming. Our flexible ticket system allows you to pick and choose your attendance days. Kids Club is also a vendor/provider to the Child Care Resource Center funding program, the LA North County Regional Center, and is also a member of the American Camping Association. Kids Club works with each family individually to offer the most affordable and feasible program possible.


Q. Where does Kids Club go swimming?

A. Kids Club has utilized the Calabasas Swim and Tennis Center for decades. The club pool is managed by the City of Calabasas. The junior Olympic size pool is supervised with six lifeguards at all times, and is heated year round. The pool is very safe, and has no diving boards or slide access. It features a large shallow end and small deep end. All students are tested daily for safety. The Club also offers locker rooms, play areas, and a full service pool cafe.
