In the coming fall months, children ages 5 to 13 are invited to join us for two exciting days of hiking and exploring...
Just over the hill on Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon Road, the Kids Club Nature Camp will journey together to discover beautiful Malibu Creek State Park. The highligh of this fun-filled day will be a light hike to the site of the famous "MASH" TV series. Kids will also be treated to a tour of the visitor center, where they will learn all about local wildlife.
On this outing, The Kids Club will tour the Chumash Interpretive Center and Park in Thousand Oaks. This special all-day program will provide education and insight into the life of the native California Chumash Indians. There will be a guided tour of the museum and a four mile trail that will explore the “Little Sapw’I" village, wildlife fields, and a cave with pictographs! The guided tour promises to entertain and enlighten your child with Chumash culture, fun facts about the park, flora and fauna, and so much more!
For both of the above adventures we suggest that you wear tennis shoes with socks, a baseball hat, and sunglasses. Don't forget the sunscreen! Bottled water, lunch, trail mix & snacks will be provided. Pre-registration is a must as space is limited. Please contact us for reservations or more information, and ask about the Kids Club 2-Day Discount Special for both events.
